A Trio of Graduated Ceramic Rabbit Figurines
Description
A set of three graduated ceramic figurines depicting rabbits in an upright, begging stance with paws tucked to their chests. The rabbits feature a cream-colored glaze with hand-painted details in a dark brown pigment, highlighting their expressive eyes, long eyelashes, whiskers, and muzzles. The figures have small upright ears and are depicted sitting on their haunches. There are no visible maker’s marks, signatures, or labels on the exterior surfaces shown.
Condition report:
The figurines appear in good vintage condition. All three rabbits exhibit small, stray blue-gray marks on their chests, likely manufacturing artifacts (photo 1). There is light surface grime and minor scuffing around the base and feet consistent with age and handling. No chips, cracks, or repairs are visible from the front view.
