Description
A miniature seven-piece porcelain tea set presented on a matching rectangular tray. The set includes a lidded teapot, a lidded double-handled sugar bowl, a cream jug, two teacups, and two saucers. Each piece is crafted from glazed white porcelain with a pearlescent iridescent finish. The decoration consists of transfer-printed pink rose motifs and green foliage. Hand-painted gold-toned trim accents the scalloped rims, handles, and spouts. The teapot and sugar bowl feature vertical fluted texture on their lower bodies. The set is in fair condition with visible wear consistent with age. There is significant loss to the gold-toned trim, most notably along the scalloped edge of the tray and the rim of the cream jug. A small dark aperture or glaze defect is present at the apex of the sugar bowl lid. General light surface soiling and minor glaze irregularities are visible throughout the set.
