Description
An American-made professional electrician tool designed for pulling wire through conduit. The device consists of a circular housing made from blue and black high-impact plastic. An adhesive label on the blue housing reads IDEAL Tuff-Grip Steel Fish Tape 120 ft. x 1/8 in. #31-056. This label also contains a stylized United States flag icon with the text MADE IN USA and a safety warning stating CAUTION: ALWAYS WEAR EYE PROTECTION. A square molded mark in the center of the blue housing displays a stylized arrow logo. The housing includes a large black plastic handle with a textured grip. The internal tape is specified as steel by the manufacturer label.
Condition report:
The item is in used condition. The plastic housing shows significant surface scuffing, ground-in soil, and white residue, possibly paint or drywall dust, across the blue and black surfaces (photo 1). The central adhesive label shows wear and is starting to peel at the corners. The handle appears structurally intact. The internal tape and winding mechanism were not inspected for function.
