Description
A pair of matching pendant light fixtures featuring spherical globes of opaque white milk glass with a raised hobnail texture. Each globe is held by a tiered brass-toned metal fitter secured by three thumb screws. The base of each globe is finished with a gadrooned and fluted metal finial. The units are suspended from aged brass-toned chains and include a circular ceiling canopy for hardwired installation. A yellow adhesive label is affixed to the interior of the ceiling canopy (Photo 2). The label bears the Underwriters Laboratories Inc. logo and text, though the specific manufacturer name and model information are not legible.
Condition report:
The milk glass globes are in good condition with no chips, cracks, or fractures visible (Photos 1 and 3). The brass-toned metal components, including the fitters, finials, and chains, exhibit surface patination, tarnishing, and minor wear throughout (Photos 1-3). All vintage lighting should be inspected and rewired by a professional prior to installation.
