Fiskars Steel Billhook Clearing Tool with Sheath
Description
This modern fixed-blade brush hook features a matte grey steel blade designed for landscaping and forestry tasks. The blade construction includes a straight cutting edge that transitions into a curved billhook tip, with a serrated section along the spine and three circular weight-reduction cut-outs near the hook. The ergonomic handle is composed of black and orange synthetic materials with a textured grip and a lanyard hole at the pommel. A black textile sheath is included, featuring a red webbing shoulder strap and a hook-and-loop closure. The sheath bears the name FISKARS printed in orange block letters on the closure flap.
Condition report:
The tool is in used condition. Visible surface oxidation and light rust spots are present on the steel blade, primarily concentrated near the hooked tip and along the cutting edge (photo 1). The synthetic handle shows minor surface scuffing and signs of handling but remains structurally sound. The textile sheath and red webbing strap show light wear and fraying consistent with field use.
