Description
A set of six contemporary dining chairs featuring solid hardwood frames with a warm brown finish. The set includes two styles of chair: four with solid upholstered backrest panels and two with decorative wooden lattice backrests containing inset upholstery. All chairs are upholstered in a taupe-colored microsuede fabric on both the seat cushions and the backrests. The construction includes square tapered legs reinforced by H-shaped stretchers for added structural stability. No labels, stamps, or maker marks are visible on the frames or upholstery in the provided images.
Condition report:
The microsuede upholstery on all chairs exhibits widespread surface soiling, water spotting, and staining, particularly visible on the seat cushions and backrest panels (photos 1, 2, 3, 4). The hardwood frames show scattered minor nicks, surface scratches, and general finish wear consistent with use. Visible finish loss and scuffing are present at the base of the legs and feet (photo 4). A small chip in the wood finish is visible on the upper corner of one chair backrest frame (photo 2). The set is in fair condition.
