Description
A single Ethan Allen 1970s Mid Century Modern Cog Wheel Spinning Gear Table. This functional piece of furniture utilizes a large, round gear form, consistent with the popular Mid-Century Modern style. Constructed entirely of wood (tablewood), the top features 30 large, deeply cut teeth around its circumference. A dark, possibly painted wood or metal cap assembly is fixed at the center, resembling an axle cap or keyway. The overall design incorporates the industrial gear aesthetic, sometimes referenced in connection with the art deco period, into a functional coffee table. No manufacturer markings are visible.
