Large Rustic Scalloped Pine Bookcase with Doors
Description
A large primitive-style bookcase constructed from solid pine planks featuring a decorative scalloped crest and simple butt-joint construction. The surfaces exhibit visible circular saw marks, lending a rustic appearance to the piece. The interior is divided into four compartments by three fixed shelves, and the unit features a solid plank back. Small brass hinges are mounted on the front frame for the two detached solid-plank doors. No labels, maker marks, or country of origin marks are present on the item.

Condition report:
The bookcase is in fair, used condition. Widespread surface scratches, abrasions, and wear to the finish are visible throughout the frame and shelves (photo 1). Both door panels are detached, and one panel features a significant horizontal split running through the center (photo 2). Several small holes are visible in the top crest (photo 1). General grime and dust are present consistent with long-term storage (photo 1).
