Signed Rine Modernist Landscape Painting
Description
A modernist landscape painting executed in oil or acrylic on stretched canvas. The composition features a stylized depiction of rolling hills and fields rendered in high-contrast bands of blue, yellow, green, and orange. The work incorporates four spherical, blue tree-like forms characterized by heavy impasto texture, providing tactile depth against the more gestural application of color in the surrounding fields. The piece is signed Rine in black pigment in the upper right corner. A small white adhesive label is attached to the top left edge with the handwritten word Vibrant. The work is currently unframed.
Condition report:
Several light surface scuffs and horizontal scratches are visible within the blue field on the left side of the composition (photo 1). There is minor wear to the canvas at the corners and along the edges. The surface shows a light accumulation of dust.
