A large scale hand blown clear glass decanter featuring a wide compressed spherical body. The form includes a deep central indentation at the junction of the body and the short stem which flares into a wide pedestal base. The piece is fitted with a solid clear glass stopper terminating in a thick walled circular ring handle. No maker marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the base or body of the vessel. The design utilizes clean lines and the inherent clarity of the colorless glass.
