Urban Contemporary Mixed Media Painting on Industrial Board
Description
An urban contemporary mixed media painting executed in spray paint and acrylic on a repurposed rectangular concrete board. The composition features a vibrant, multi-layered background with washes of yellow, pink, blue, and teal paint. Centered on the work is a vertical stack of three words rendered in bold black calligraphic script reading Call of Shine. A rudimentary black smiley face is visible in the upper right quadrant, alongside teal geometric linear motifs and intentional paint drips. The support material is characterized by a consistent grid of small circular indentations. No signature, maker mark, date, or label is visible on the front or edges of the piece.
Condition report:
The edges of the industrial board are unfinished and exhibit minor material losses and fraying (photo 1). Several surface abrasions, scratches, and scuffs are visible across the painted surface (photo 1). There is a light accumulation of surface dust and dirt throughout (photo 1). The corners of the brittle acoustic tile support show minor crumbling and impact damage (photo 1).
