A Set of Four Clear Pressed Glass Banana Split Dishes
Description
A set of four clear pressed glass serving dishes, commonly referred to as banana split boats or individual relish dishes. The vessels feature an elongated oval form with a scalloped rim and molded vertical ribbing on the exterior sides. The interior base of each dish is decorated with a pressed multi-rayed starburst motif. The glass is transparent and of a heavy weight. One dish contains a small white rectangular adhesive label or residue on the interior bottom; any characters on the label are not legible. No maker names, signatures, or logos are visible on the pieces.
