Description
The lot consists of three matching decorative collector plates from the “Country Living Legacy” series, custom-fired for the Oxmoor Gallery. Each plate is crafted from fine white porcelain and features a thin gold-toned rim. The decoration is applied via transfer print, depicting historic rural architecture and pastoral scenes. The three distinct scenes include a building labeled “BLACKSMITH LIVERY,” a functioning water mill with a large wooden wheel, and a traditional red covered bridge. The reverse of the plates is marked in black with the series title “COUNTRY LIVING LEGACY,” the name “Oxmoor Gallery,” and explanatory text stating: “This plate has been custom-fired on fine porcelain for preferred customers of Oxmoor Gallery. For decorative use only.”
