Description
A single ceramic figural coin bank, styled as an anthropomorphic root vegetable, consistent with market descriptions of a kitschy carrot cartoon figure coin bank. The earthenware object is painted in matte colors, predominantly orange for the body, dark green for the foliage cap and base/shoes. The front features a detailed cartoon face with large eyes and a protruding tongue. Small yellow fist-shaped hands are attached to the body via thin metal springs. A rectangular coin slot is located on the back of the figure’s head. The unglazed terracotta base features a large circular opening for coin removal. No manufacturer’s markings or inscriptions are visible. Measures approximately 8.5″ tall.
