Description
This is a vintage ceramic shallow soup plate or rimmed soup bowl manufactured by Homer Laughlin in the M207 pattern. The piece features a cream ground color and a molded, scalloped rim. The decoration consists of a polychrome floral transferware pattern depicting large roses and smaller blue and yellow blossoms, distributed around the rim. A subtle dotted gilt band encircles the central well. The reverse bears the manufacturer’s backstamp, including a stylized logo, the text HOMER LAUGHLIN, MADE IN U.S.A., and the factory code H 45 N 8. Measures approximately 8.5″ diameter.
