Description
A single painted bas-relief wall plaque executed in a rustic folk art style. The plaque depicts a wildlife scene featuring a brown buck with large antlers standing in profile. The deer is set against a highly textured, rough-carved foreground representing beige grass, flanked by two dark green pine trees, all under a brightly painted orange and reddish-hued sky. The plaque is composed of terracotta and is contained within a dark border. The reverse side bears hand-painted markings, CLP 2000, indicating the creator’s initials and the year of manufacture. Measures 11″x 8″.
