Description
A piece of contemporary American folk pottery, specifically a stoneware storage jug, attributed to Sid Luck. The jug features a rounded body, a narrow spout, and a single strap handle. It is constructed from a reddish-brown clay body and finished in a dark olive-green alkaline glaze, which exhibits characteristic runs and pooling. The underside of the base is incised with the signature and date Sid Luck 1996. The opening is currently fitted with a corn cob stopper. Measures approximately 8.5″ tall.
