Description
A single ceramic pitcher attributed to Michael Crocker (pitcher) and Pauline Crocker (flowers) crafted from stoneware and covered in a matte, pale olive green or sage glaze exhibiting a slightly speckled texture. The vessel features a wide mouth with a prominent pour spout and a sturdy, applied handle. The body is heavily decorated in high relief with a botanical motif featuring three large, three-dimensional rose flowers accompanied by impressed leaves and stems. This decorative style is consistent with the work of contemporary Georgia potters, including Michael Crocker and Pauline Crocker, who specialize in stoneware forms.Measures approximately 9″ tall.
