Description
A single decorative ceramic bowl attributed to Noritake, Japan. The bowl features a scalloped, undulating rim and is finished internally with a highly iridescent luster glaze exhibiting copper and gold tones. The exterior is decorated with hand-painted stylized autumnal leaves in orange and black outline, set against a speckled light blue/grey ground. The underside bears the distinctive red-brown Noritake backstamp featuring the M in a wreath motif, along with the text NORITAKE, HAND PAINTED, and MADE IN JAPAN, identifying the item as Japanese porcelain.Measures approximately 4″ across.
