Description
A circular souvenir dinner plate manufactured by Triumph American Limoges in the USA. The plate is made of cream-colored ceramic and features a wide, fluted rim bordered by a repetitive brown transfer-ware chain pattern. The central decoration is a brown transfer image of a log cabin captioned Lincoln’s Birthplace, KY. The verso displays the manufacturer’s backstamp reading TRIUMPH, AMERICAN LIMOGES, MADE IN U.S.A., CHINA D’OR, 1T-S284, and WARRANTED 22 K-GOLD. Additional hand-painted marks include a brown 7 and the number 5. Measures 9.5″ diameter.
