Hand Painted Porcelain Reticulated Heart Border Cabinet Plate Signed Zenobia 79
Description
This porcelain cabinet plate features a wide reticulated border with a repeating pattern of pierced heart-shaped cutouts. The outer scalloped rim is finished with a thin band of gold gilding. The central well is decorated with a hand painted floral composition depicting five-petaled blossoms in shades of pink and lavender with dark centers, accompanied by green foliage. The background is softly shaded with washes of pale yellow and green. The underside of the plate bears a hand painted signature in dark pigment that reads Zenobia 79. No other manufacturer marks or country of origin stamps are visible.
Condition report:
The plate is in good condition. There is minor wear and thinning to the gold gilding on the outer rim (photo 1). The reverse side shows several small, scattered brown points of discoloration within the glaze (photo 2). No chips, cracks, or structural repairs are visible.
