Wear-Ever No. 825 Vintage Heavy-Gauge Aluminum Stockpot with Lid
Description
This vintage commercial-grade stockpot is constructed from heavy-gauge aluminum and includes a matching recessed lid. The deep, straight-sided cylindrical body features two large, riveted loop handles. The corresponding lid is designed with a raised rim and a riveted strap-style handle. An embossed mark in uppercase letters reading WEAR-EVER is located on the top surface of the lid handle. The lid also bears a stamped number 825 near the handle attachment point. The aluminum has developed a matte gray oxidized patina throughout its surface.
Condition report:
The stockpot is in well-used vintage condition with significant surface oxidation and mottling visible across the exterior (photo 1). A series of dark vertical stains and localized carbonized residue are present on one side of the pot (photo 1). The lid shows similar surface oxidation and light scattered scratching. The handles and rivets remain securely attached and appear structurally sound.
