A Weber Charcoal Kettle Grill and Chimney Starter
Description
This lot comprises a charcoal kettle grill and a cylindrical chimney starter. The grill is constructed with a black porcelain-enameled steel lid and basin. The rounded lid features a circular adjustable aluminum air vent and a white plastic handle. The interior of the basin contains two circular metal wire grates for charcoal and cooking. The accompanying chimney starter is made of cylindrical metal with a series of circular ventilation holes around the lower perimeter and a side handle equipped with a triangular heat shield. The white plastic lid handle of the grill is embossed with the printed name weber twice in lowercase script.
Condition report:
The exterior porcelain finish exhibits an accumulation of dust, cobwebs, and minor surface scratching (photo 1). There is visible oxidation and surface rust along the metal rims where the lid meets the basin (photo 1). Internally, both metal wire grates show heavy surface rust and carbon residue from previous use (photo 2). The bottom of the basin contains ash and charcoal debris (photo 2). The chimney starter displays significant surface oxidation and rust throughout the exterior and interior, along with carbon buildup (photo 2).
