Description
A hanging bird feeder designed for dispensing small seeds such as thistle or nyjer. The item features a cylindrical body constructed from fine black metal mesh, which allows birds to cling and feed from all sides. The top is covered by a yellow stylized flower-shaped lid, and the bottom is fitted with a matching circular yellow tray that serves as both a base and a perch. A silver-toned metal wire bail is attached to the top for hanging. An internal baffle system is visible through the mesh, intended to assist with even seed distribution. No maker marks, labels, or signatures are visible on the exterior components of the feeder.
Condition report:
The feeder is in used, fair condition. There is visible accumulation of dirt, dust, and organic residue on the yellow flower-shaped top and the circular base tray (photo 1). The metal wire hanging bail shows minor surface wear and light oxidation (photo 1). The black mesh reservoir remains structurally intact with no apparent holes, tears, or significant warping (photo 1).
