Arts and Crafts Style Solid Wood Writing Desk with Integrated Hutch
Description
A contemporary solid wood writing desk and hutch finished in a dark reddish-brown stain. The desk features a butcher-block style strip-laminate top. The integrated hutch includes four small drawers, two on each side, flanking two open storage compartments. Below the desktop, the right side consists of a vertical bank of four drawers, while the left side features an open frame with vertical slats. The hardware throughout is comprised of circular metal ring-pulls in a satin silver-tone finish. The construction is solid wood with visible grain patterns. No maker marks, labels, or stamps are visible on the exterior or interior of the drawers.
Condition report:
The desk is in good functional condition. There are numerous visible surface scratches and light scuffs across the main desktop surface (photo 1). Similar wear and minor edge rubbing are present along the upper surfaces of the hutch (photo 1, photo 2). The finish shows typical signs of moderate use but remains structurally sound.
