The pitcher is executed in a vibrant Postmodern or Abstract Expressionist style, utilizing a high-gloss glaze. The decoration consists of broad, irregular swaths of royal blue, red, turquoise, and yellow/orange, overlaid with a fine black speckled or spatter glaze. Abstract dark brown squiggly lines are visible on the lower body. This specific Pfaltzgraff pattern is often referred to as ‘Sedona’ in the market. No visible maker’s marks are present.
