Description
This is a vintage door harp manufactured by Two Sisters Musical Instruments, dated 1985. The instrument is constructed of two-toned wood, featuring a distinctive teardrop or leaf shape. The central panel displays a vertically ribbed texture surrounding a circular sound hole and an incised decorative ring. The instrument is fitted with six wooden tuning pegs and currently strung with three taut metal strings. Attached are three conical metal striker weights suspended from brass rods with wooden handles, designed to chime when the door is opened or closed. Comes with original instruction manual. The back of the instrument is stamped with the identifying text: Two Sisters Musical Instruments ©1985 Edwards. Approximately 8″ tall.
