Description
A collection of four vintage porcelain dishes manufactured by Johann Haviland, Bavaria, Germany, in the “Blue Garland” pattern. The lot consists of two slightly larger shallow dishes and two smaller, deeper bowls. All items feature a white ground decorated with a delicate transfer print pattern of small blue/grey floral clusters and foliage. The undulating, scalloped rims are accented by silver-colored metallic banding, often identified as platinum trim. The reverse of one dish displays the green maker’s mark under a crown logo reading “JOHANN HAVILAND / BAVARIA / GERMANY.” Approxiamtely 6″ diameter.
